The Bison CarbonMax Composite Volleyball System is the only carbon fiber volleyball system with a crank style internal net height adjustment feature for easy and accurate net fine tuning. Built on a 3-1/2" carbon fiber post with a 3" diameter aluminum inner tube and a thick gloss resin finish, the CarbonMax achieves a post deflection of just 0.98" at 250 lb net tension. Posts weigh 32 lbs (non-winch end) and 37 lbs (winch end) and fit directly into standard 3" floor sockets. The CarbonMax winch carries Bison's Forever Lifetime Warranty. Floor socket installation required: The CarbonMax is a floor-socket competition volleyball system. Installation requires 3" floor sockets set into the gymnasium floor at the correct court positions. The Complete System and Double Court System configurations include 3" Aluminum Floor Inserts. The "Without Sockets", "Posts/Winch Only", and "Court Adder" configurations do not include floor inserts — these are intended for facilities that already have 3" floor sockets in place. If your facility does not have floor sockets, select a Complete or Double Court configuration, or contact our team to discuss installation options before ordering.
3-1/2" Carbon Fiber Post: 0.98" Deflection, Internal Crank Height Adjustment
The CarbonMax post is built from a 3-1/2" carbon fiber outer shell with a 3" diameter aluminum inner tube, finished in a thick gloss resin finish. This composite construction produces a competition post with an approx. post deflection of just 0.98" at 250 lb net tension. At 32 lbs (non-winch end) and 37 lbs (winch end), the post fits standard 3" floor sockets with the 3" Aluminum Floor Insert included on socket-equipped configurations. Floor friendly adjustable feet protect the playing surface around the socket area.
The CarbonMax is the only carbon fiber volleyball system with a crank style internal net height adjustment. The internal crank allows for easy and accurate net fine tuning without external slider mechanisms. Height adjustment is telescoping with permanently engraved net height indicators for precise, repeatable positioning at junior, official women's, and official men's heights.
Forever Lifetime Warranty Winch and Complete Rope System
Net tensioning is handled by Bison's winch, which carries the Forever Lifetime Warranty — the top-tier named winch warranty in the Bison lineup. The bottom rope system includes both an adjustable Velcro bottom rope strap and a bottom rope ratchet tensioner. The Bison Exclusive Top Rope Dome is included on all padded complete configurations.

Select Without Sockets if your facility already has 3" floor sockets in the floor and you only need the posts and accessories. Select the Double Court or Double Court Without Sockets package if you are outfitting two courts at the same time. Select Posts and Winch Only if you have an existing net and accessories and only need the CarbonMax post mechanism. Warranty
The CarbonMax winch carries Bison's Forever Lifetime Warranty. All Bison products are warranted against manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. Where listed as limited, warranties cover damage or failure that occurs during normal or intended use, defined as activity necessary for participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed. All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating. See the "Warranties" tab for complete details on what is included and excluded.

Who Is This System For?
- Competition gymnasiums with existing or new 3" floor sockets that require the lowest post deflection available in the carbon fiber class; the CarbonMax's 0.98" deflection at 250 lb net tension and internal crank height adjustment make it the precision competition choice for facilities where net rigidity and fine-tuned height control are the priority
- Facilities installing new floor sockets should select a Complete or Double Court System configuration, which includes the 3" Aluminum Floor Inserts needed for the initial installation

Warranty
All Bison products are warranted against manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. In addition, most products are covered by warranty periods stated in the description of the product. Where listed as “limited”, warranties cover damage or failure that occurs during the course of “normal or intended use” of the warranted product. Normal or intended use is described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed.
Bison Limited Warranties do not cover any damage or failure that is the direct or indirect result of any use that is not deemed in the sole discretion of Bison to be “normal and intended use”. When warranties are stated as “unconditional” or “unconditional replacement”, the above stated limitations do not normally apply except in cases where damage was obviously the result of a malicious act of vandalism.
Where no specific length or type of warranty is listed in the catalog, the product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects and for the intended purpose at the time of shipment. Whether or not stated as such, all Bison warranties allow Bison to repair or replace warranted products at Bison’s sole option. Normal deterioration of products due to weather, wear and tear, or other causes that do not affect functional use are not covered by Bison warranties, regardless of type of stated warranty.
All warranties are valid only when product is used in the intended application as outlined in Bison’s printed literature, when installed according to Bison’s instructions and when matched with compatible components as described in Bison’s literature. Under no circumstances will Bison Residential Basketball Equipment be warranted for commercial or institutional use.
Due to the abusive nature of pay-to-play facilities, unless specifically agreed to in writing, Bison products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in a facility where players pay an individual or group fee to use Bison equipment.
Bison will pay ground freight only to repair or replace defective merchandise. Unless otherwise stated, Bison will not assume any liability for labor costs incurred for removal or replacement of product replaced or repaired under warranty.
Return Policy
No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization by calling 800-247-7668. Merchandise returned without a return authorization number will be held for no more than 10 days at which time all return credit is forfeited. Upon receipt of request for return, an authorization number will be issued by Bison and must appear on all return shipping labels. All returns must be shipped prepaid (UPS, FedEx or truck only) to 1100 SW 6th Street, Lincoln NE 68522. DO NOT RETURN BY U.S. POSTAL SERVICE. Collect returns will not be accepted.
Credit for defective merchandise will be issued only when Bison Inc inspection department determines the merchandise to be covered by Bison Inc warranty. All salable merchandise returned is subject to a minimum 35% restocking charge and all freight costs with a minimum restocking charge of $100. Due to their custom design, scoring tables and wall padding are not returnable. Sports nets are not returnable once opened.
These conditions and terms supersede any that may appear on a purchase order. Possession of price list or catalog does not constitute an offer to sell.
