1/2" Thick Clear Polycarbonate Backboard

The backboard is a 54" x 42", 1/2" thick clear polycarbonate panel. Polycarbonate is the same material used in riot shields and security glazing applications. It delivers consistent rebound performance while being virtually unbreakable under normal outdoor play conditions and vandalism attempts. For outdoor courts, parks, and public-access facilities where glass breakage creates a safety liability, a polycarbonate backboard is not a compromise on performance but a practical engineering requirement.
