Every other spring-assist portable basketball system on the market moves the backboard closer to the base when the rim is lowered, shrinking the safe play area under the basket exactly when young players need it most. 2" Thick Polyurethane Foam Base Padding to 72" Height

The T-REX Sport features 2" thick polyurethane foam padding on the sides and front of the base to a height of 72". The cover is black 14 oz. leather grain vinyl, standard on all units. For youth programs, recreational leagues, and high-traffic facilities where player contact with the base is a real concern, this padding configuration provides critical protection on every possession.

Spring-Assisted Counterbalance Height Adjustment

The BA893 uses spring-assisted counterbalance technology to make height adjustment fast, safe, and effortless for any staff member regardless of physical strength. Height adjusts from 7.5 ft (youth) to 10 ft (regulation). Unlike motorized systems there is no electrical component to service, and unlike hand crank systems there is no physical effort required beyond engaging the spring-assist mechanism. Adjustment is designed to be completed quickly between programs or during breaks without tools or additional staff.

Zero-Maintenance Bearings and Floor-Friendly Casters

All pivot points use zero-maintenance, self-lubricating bearings with chrome-plated pivot axles. No grease, no service calls, no downtime. The system rolls on floor-friendly casters for easy repositioning by a single staff member.
