The Bison Lottery Pick ZipCrank 4" Adjustable Basketball Hoop System brings Bison's competition-grade engineering to a residential home court in a clean, straightforward package. A 36" x 54" TruGlass tinted tempered glass backboard with an aluminum frame just like those in the gym. A front-mount ZipCrank removable crank handle that adjusts the rim from 7'6" to 10' and allows installation closer to walls, fences, and obstacles than any rear-mount system. Free fitted pole padding included standard. One configuration, no compromises on backboard quality, and Bison's Limited Lifetime Warranty behind every unit.
The Lottery Pick is built around Bison's TruGlass tinted tempered glass backboard, a 36" x 54" glass playing surface mounted in an aluminum frame just like those used in the gym. Most residential in-ground goals use acrylic or standard glass backboards in steel or plastic frames. The Lottery Pick uses the same aluminum framing construction that Bison deploys on its competition-grade institutional equipment, bringing that structural integrity to a home court installation. The tinted glass adds a premium visual aesthetic while delivering the same true rebound response that tempered glass provides over acrylic. For home court players who want a backboard that plays and looks like a gym board, the TruGlass aluminum-framed construction is a meaningful real-world upgrade over the competition at this price point.
The Lottery Pick uses Bison's ZipCrank front-mount crank handle for smooth, effortless rim height adjustment from 7'6" to regulation 10'. The front-mount design is a practical advantage for courts where a wall, fence, garage, or any other structure sits behind the post and makes rear-mount crank access difficult or impossible. Because the ZipCrank crank sits at the front of the unit, the Lottery Pick can be installed closer to fences, walls, and other obstacles than any rear-mount height adjustment system. The removable crank handle prevents unauthorized or unsupervised height adjustment when the court is not in use, a practical household safety feature for families with younger players.
The Lottery Pick is built on an extra heavy 4" square steel pole installed by direct burial into a permanent concrete anchor. The direct bury construction eliminates the post wobble that is common with surface-mount and bolt-down systems at this weight class, providing the rigid, stable foundation that a glass backboard and breakaway goal demand across years of hard outdoor play. At 269 lbs, the Lottery Pick is a serious permanent installation that ships by truck and requires proper concrete anchor preparation before assembly.
Every Lottery Pick ships with free fitted pole padding included as standard. On most competing in-ground adjustable systems, pole padding is a paid optional upgrade. Bison includes it with every ZipCrank system at no extra cost. For home courts where players drive toward the basket and post contact is a real concern, having fitted padding on the post from day one rather than as an afterthought is a practical safety advantage that most buyers do not notice until they are comparing post-purchase add-on costs across systems.
Every Lottery Pick ships with a breakaway goal as standard. The breakaway mechanism absorbs rim impact during dunks and hard plays, protecting the rim and the TruGlass backboard across years of heavy use. No upgrade is required to get breakaway performance on the Lottery Pick.
The Lottery Pick is available in a single configuration: the BA8350 with a 36" x 54" TruGlass tinted tempered glass backboard on a 4" square extra heavy direct bury pole with the ZipCrank front-mount crank system. There are no backboard size or material choices to navigate. If this backboard size and the ZipCrank front-mount adjustment system fit your court, the Lottery Pick is a fully specified, ready-to-order package.
