The First Team Renegade In-Ground Fixed Height Basketball Goal is a permanent outdoor basketball system built on a 4-1/2" O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized steel post with a 48" post-to-backboard extension and 48" in-ground bury, available in 9 backboard configurations across steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and acrylic. The Renegade carries a 20-Year Limited Warranty on every configuration. Fixed height at regulation 10'. The extension arm attaches to the vertical post via two heavy-duty U-bolts that can be loosened to reposition the arm at any height along the post, and all Renegade goals are direct mounted to eliminate backboard stress.

FT1875 Renegade Pole System: 4-1/2" Schedule 40 Galvanized, 48" Extension, 48" Bury

Every Renegade configuration is built on the FT1875 Renegade Pole System, a 4-1/2" O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized steel post buried 48" into the ground in a permanent concrete anchor. A vinyl tip cap seals the top of the post against moisture. The extension arm is attached to the vertical post using two heavy-duty U-bolts and positions the backboard 48" from the post. The U-bolts can be loosened to reposition and re-attach the arm at any height along the post, giving installers flexibility in setting the final playing height before the system is locked in. The extension arm and all braces are powder coated. Backboard braces are included on all configurations for superior backboard rigidity.

20-Year Limited Warranty on Every Configuration

Every Renegade configuration carries a 20-Year Limited Warranty. First Team's Limited Warranty covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty. All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.

FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal: Steel, Aluminum, and Fiberglass Variants

Six Renegade configurations — all steel, aluminum, and fiberglass variants — ship with the FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal, direct mounted to the backboard to eliminate stress at the connection point. The FT172D features a rust-resistant powder coated finish suited for permanent outdoor installation.

FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal: Acrylic Variants

The three acrylic Renegade configurations — III, Select, and Supreme — ship with the FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal, featuring a 3/16" steel rim support and continuous netlocks, direct mounted to the backboard. Net and mounting hardware are included.

Warranty

All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.  First Team products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in an entertainment or amusement facility where players pay a fee to use the equipment, unless specifically agreed to in writing by First Team.
