The Bison T-REX International Manual Portable Basketball System BA8910IGM delivers the same FIBA-certified, NCAA-compliant, NFHS-compliant performance as the T-REX International Automatic on an identical structural platform, with hand crank height adjustment in place of the motorized push-button system. Same 72" x 42" tempered glass backboard. Same 6" square reinforced steel main beam. Same extension spring counterbalance technology, same zero-maintenance self-lubricating bearings, same 1,500 lb hidden ballast, same 10 floor-friendly casters. The operational difference is the height adjustment mechanism and a larger storage footprint. For facilities with dedicated staff and a lower frequency of height adjustments, the Manual delivers every structural and certification advantage of the T-REX International platform. 16 padding colors available. Custom graphics available at checkout for an additional USD 500.00.
The BA8910IGM uses a hand crank height adjustment mechanism to raise, lower, and store the backboard. Extension spring counterbalance technology makes the crank smooth and manageable regardless of operator strength. Height adjusts from 7.5 ft (youth) to 10 ft (regulation). Front levelers are automatic. For facilities that adjust rim height infrequently, where a dedicated staff member handles the system on a consistent basis, or where the operational simplicity of a crank mechanism is preferred over a motorized system, the Manual is the right choice. The trade-off against the Automatic is a larger storage footprint and slower transitions between heights when back-to-back adjustments are required.
The BA8910IGM carries FIBA international certification, the standard used in Olympic and professional competition worldwide. It is fully compliant with NCAA and NFHS regulations and meets ASTM F1616 safety certification requirements. For colleges, high schools, and multi-use facilities that need one portable system to cover every level of play, the T-REX International Manual meets the requirement at every standard without modification.
The backboard is a 72" x 42" tempered glass panel, the NCAA and NFHS regulation size. The system ships with the BA3180S breakaway rim, rated for 230 lbs of force in compliance with NCAA standards. The backboard extends 10'8" from the baseline. Backboard padding is included and available in 17 colors at checkout.
The main beam is 6" square, 3/16" reinforced steel with a tubular spine for added stability. The base frame is 5" x 2" x 1/8" tubular steel welded rectangle. Industry-leading extension spring counterbalance technology makes crank operation smooth and safe regardless of operator strength. All pivot points use zero-maintenance, self-lubricating bearings with chrome-plated steel axles. No grease, no downtime, no service calls required. Beam padding is included standard.
The system rolls on 10 total 8" x 2" wide casters (4 in front, 6 in rear) designed to protect gym floors and allow easy repositioning by a single staff member. Narrow-profile uprights minimize visual interference for fans and media positioned behind the baseline. The system rolls through any standard doorway of 84" or wider for easy storage between events.
The 1,500 lb ballast weight is housed inside a covered containment cell, keeping the base clean and professional in appearance for broadcast and fan-facing environments. A rear hold down and deadlock device are both included standard. Base padding is 4" thick premium sewn, available in 16 colors. Base color is bright white standard.
Base padding is 4" thick premium sewn in 16 colors. Both are selected at checkout. Custom graphics are available for an additional USD 500.00 and are selected at checkout alongside the padding color. For branded facility environments, tournament venues, and broadcast courts, custom graphics are available on both the backboard padding and base padding.

All Bison products are warranted against manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. In addition, most products are covered by warranty periods stated in the description of the product. Where listed as “limited”, warranties cover damage or failure that occurs during the course of “normal or intended use” of the warranted product. Normal or intended use is described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed.
Bison Limited Warranties do not cover any damage or failure that is the direct or indirect result of any use that is not deemed in the sole discretion of Bison to be “normal and intended use”. When warranties are stated as “unconditional” or “unconditional replacement”, the above stated limitations do not normally apply except in cases where damage was obviously the result of a malicious act of vandalism.
Where no specific length or type of warranty is listed in the catalog, the product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects and for the intended purpose at the time of shipment. Whether or not stated as such, all Bison warranties allow Bison to repair or replace warranted products at Bison’s sole option. Normal deterioration of products due to weather, wear and tear, or other causes that do not affect functional use are not covered by Bison warranties, regardless of type of stated warranty.
All warranties are valid only when product is used in the intended application as outlined in Bison’s printed literature, when installed according to Bison’s instructions and when matched with compatible components as described in Bison’s literature. Under no circumstances will Bison Residential Basketball Equipment be warranted for commercial or institutional use.
Due to the abusive nature of pay-to-play facilities, unless specifically agreed to in writing, Bison products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in a facility where players pay an individual or group fee to use Bison equipment.
Bison will pay ground freight only to repair or replace defective merchandise. Unless otherwise stated, Bison will not assume any liability for labor costs incurred for removal or replacement of product replaced or repaired under warranty.
No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization by calling 469-518-4269. Merchandise returned without a return authorization number will be held for no more than 10 days at which time all return credit is forfeited. Upon receipt of request for return, an authorization number will be issued by Bison and must appear on all return shipping labels. All returns must be shipped prepaid (UPS, FedEx or truck only) to 1100 SW 6th Street, Lincoln NE 68522. DO NOT RETURN BY U.S. POSTAL SERVICE. Collect returns will not be accepted.
Credit for defective merchandise will be issued only when Bison Inc inspection department determines the merchandise to be covered by Bison Inc warranty. All salable merchandise returned is subject to a minimum 35% restocking charge and all freight costs with a minimum restocking charge of $100. Due to their custom design, scoring tables and wall padding are not returnable. Sports nets are not returnable once opened.
These conditions and terms supersede any that may appear on a purchase order. Possession of price list or catalog does not constitute an offer to sell.
