Balls for Arm Pitching Machines

You’ll need to decide which balls to use when loading the machine.

The MP-4 is the top of the line machine used by professional teams. With the fastest pitching speeds and reinforced frame and a positive feed control to ensure the seems of balls flow correctly off the pitching machine arm.

You have 2 choices of balls:

• Dimpled batting cage balls (usually yellow)
• Normal Baseballs with seems

With the dimpled balls do not need any special mechanism to arrange the seems as they are uniformly round.

We recommend getting a machine with a positive feed control if you plan on using normal baseballs with seems. When launching, Arm Pitching Machines need to have the seem in the right place to throw the same pitch over and over again.
