The Kodiak AWD, dual-hub electric bike, is the first of its kind for Bakcou. The Bakcou Kodiak AWD has TWO 500W hub motors, one in the front hub and one in the rear hub. These combine to give you more power and more capability with a hub driven bike than ever before.
At Bakcou, we recognize that not every hunt begins at the top of the mountain. Sometimes your secret hunting spot sits at the end of a long cornfield, miles downstream at the bend in the river, or maybe in those hard to reach cattails on the distant horizon. And sometimes, your hunt finds you traveling snow-packed trails into your stand. Bakcou took all of the high-end components of the Mule and Storm and engineered a hunting tool capable of handling hills, mountains, and winter terrain.
With dual hub motors and AWD capabilities, the Kodiak AWD is built to conquer snow, mud, and sand. While Bakcou mid-drive motor eBikes are built to climb, the dual-hub motors are made to push/pull each wheel through the stickiest of terrains.
Bakcou combined the power and performance of Bafang’s 500W, high-end hub motors with the same bulletproof aluminum alloy frame and high-end components that you expect in a Bakcou fat-tire electric bike. As with each of Bakcou eBikes, it’s all in the details. Bakcou use wide handlebars and locking handle grips. Bakcou then add wide stance, deep-cleated pedals with wide holes for extra boot grip and space to avoid accumulation of mud or snow. This gives Bakcou eBikes a greater base of support.
The LCD display allows for ease of use when flying down the trail, and the unparalleled traction and control of the Maxxis Minion tires allow you to go where you want to go. From Bakcou top of the line coil-suspension forks to Bakcou drivetrain components, Bakcou’ve got you covered.
The all-new Bakcou Kodiak AWD is available in Matte Black, Matte Army Green, and Realtree Edge. The Kodiak AWD is NOT available in a Step-Through model.
Headlight & Front Fender are NOT included with the Kodiak AWD.
eBike & eScooter Limited Warranty Terms
Before your first ride, please read the manual(s) provided with each Product. They contain important safety information and information about assembly, use, and maintenance. Bakcou requires registering your Bakcou eBike/eScooter within 45 days of receiving your eBike/eScooter. Registration is required to take advantage of this warranty. This will allow Bakcou to provide you with better service in the future. Product Registration
As explained in more detail below, Bakcou warrants the products for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Bakcou’s published guidelines. The guidelines include, but are not limited to, information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications. “Original retail purchase” means the Product was purchased new for the first time directly from Bakcou or from an authorized Bakcou Dealer. Registration is required for warranty claims.
Only the original owner of an eBike/eScooter purchased directly from Bakcou or an authorized Bakcou Dealer is covered by this Limited Warranty. The Warranty period begins upon receipt of the eBike/eScooter and shall terminate immediately at the end of the Warranty period. The Limited Warranty will not apply to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the eBike/eScooter.
This Limited Warranty is only applicable to eBike/eScooter purchases within the United States and Canada. Purchases outside the United States and Canada shall be subject to their respective warranty terms.
LIFETIME FRAME WARRANTY
Bakcou eBike/eScooter frames have a lifetime warranty against factory defects. Provided you register your eBike/eScooter with Bakcou within 45 days from the date of receipt, Bakcou will warrant the structural integrity of the frame to the original owner for as long as the original owner owns the product.
2 YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
All Bakcou eBikes/eScooters and their individual covered components (as defined herein), are protected against all manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years after original purchase by the original purchaser.
The Limited Warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defective motor, lithium ion battery, Roloff gear hub, suspension, forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, and kickstand. This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of these components.

Any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the eBike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the eBike/eScooter as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding.
Improper follow-up maintenance.
The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage.
For the avoidance of doubt, Bakcou will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Any modifications made to the bike by the customer will void the warranty.
Any products sold by Bakcou that are not an eBike/eScooter.
Determining whether damage or defect to an eBike/eScooter protected by this limited warranty shall be in the sole discretion of Bakcou.
Customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the replacement of any parts or components.
EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS
Bakcou has partnered with Extend to offer supplemental extended warranty packages for an additional cost. Extended warranty packages allow for a one-time replacement on parts and components. Extended warranties start on the day the Bakcou Limited Warranty period ends.

CLAIM PROCESS:
Photos and/or videos of the damaged, covered component are required for Bakcou to replace any covered component under warranty.
Once you have the photos and/or videos contact the Bakcou Technical Support Team (warranty@bakcou.com) to make your claim. Please provide your information including your name, address, date of purchase and details regarding your claim.
The Bakcou Technical Support Team will work with you to determine the best course of action to fix and/or replace components covered under this warranty. If the Bakcou Technical Support Team determines that a covered component must be replaced, instructions will be provided for receiving the replacement and returning your damaged component.
Customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the replacement of any parts or components.
After the replacement of the covered component is received, the Backou Technical Support Team will assist you in replacing or installing the new covered component on your Bakcou eBike.
If a credit card chargeback of any amount is issued on an order, the Limited Warranty for that order will be paused until the chargeback has been resolved and order is paid in full.

Shipping Damage Claims
Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Freight damage claims are extremely time-sensitive and will not be accepted more than 3 business days after delivery. Please note any damage to your products on the Bill of Lading before accepting delivery and signing off on the shipment. Take photos of any damage found and date the images when possible.
