Built for Adult Recreation and Community Programs
The Fury is designed specifically to handle the demands of adult recreational play while remaining flexible enough for church programs and elementary school environments where younger players need lower rim heights. The combination of a one-piece 4" square steel post, heavy ballast base, and direct-to-arm goal mounting creates a system that holds up to aggressive daily recreational use without the complexity or price of a full institutional system.
Simple Hand Crank Height Adjustment
The Fury uses a straightforward hand crank on the back of the post for smooth infinite height adjustment from 6'6" to regulation 10 ft. Turn the crank to raise or lower the rim to any height in that range quickly and reliably. The post to backboard extension is 48" at regulation 10 ft, and the extension distance decreases naturally as the rim is lowered. For programs running youth and adult play in the same space, accurate and fast height changes are a simple daily operation requiring no tools or accessories.
Direct Rim Mount Design
Like all First Team portables, the Fury mounts the goal directly to the extension arm rather than the backboard. Every dunk, hang, and hard rim impact is absorbed by the steel arm rather than the backboard material. This design protects your backboard investment and meaningfully extends the life of the system across years of daily use regardless of which backboard configuration you choose.
Weatherproof Construction
All steel components on the Fury carry a tough powder coat paint finish that protects against rust, corrosion, and weathering over years of indoor and outdoor use. Safety padding covers the front of the base as standard. Free custom lettering on the base pad is available upon request for programs that want their name or school on the equipment.
Six Backboard Configurations Including Glass and Smoked Glass
The Fury is available in six backboard configurations across acrylic, clear tempered glass, and smoked tempered glass. Every configuration shares the same Fury platform, hand crank height adjustment, and direct rim mount design. The only difference between types is backboard size and material.

Fury III
36" x 54" AcrylicSteps up to a 36" x 54" acrylic backboard for a meaningful playing surface increase over the II. Best for programs that want a larger backboard while keeping an accessible price point.
Fury Select
36" x 60" AcrylicThe largest acrylic Fury configuration at 36" x 60". Best for programs that want the maximum acrylic backboard size and the best acrylic playing experience in the Fury lineup before stepping up to glass.
Fury Turbo
36" x 54" GlassThe entry-level glass Fury. A 36" x 54" tempered glass backboard delivers superior rebound response and a premium playing feel at the most accessible glass price in the lineup. Best for programs that want glass performance in a compact board size.
Fury Nitro
36" x 60" GlassThe largest clear tempered glass Fury configuration. A full 36" x 60" tempered glass backboard delivers the best clear glass rebound performance available in the series. Best for recreation centers and YMCAs running serious adult recreational play.
Fury Eclipse
36" x 60" Smoked GlassThe most distinctive Fury configuration. A 36" x 60" smoked tempered glass backboard delivers full glass performance with a sleek, premium dark aesthetic. Best for facilities and home courts where appearance matters as much as performance.
Not sure which type is right for your program? For the best playing experience, the Nitro or Eclipse deliver full 60" glass backboard performance. For younger players or budget-conscious programs, the II or III are excellent starting points. The Eclipse is the right choice if you want glass performance with a premium smoked aesthetic. Color Chart
WARRANTY
All First Team products are warranted against manufacturers defects at delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products for a given period of time as stated in the literature. Below is and explanation of First Team's warranty levels.
Limited Warranty:
Covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
Superior Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact with the unit. This includes deliberate hanging on the rim. The Superior Warranty does not cover vandalism.
Unconditional Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason. Any product carrying an Unconditional Warranty is exempt from the above stated limitations.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
Some basketball products carry a warranty valid only when used in a residential setting. "Residential" is defined as a "single family dwelling." Products coverd by this warranty stipulation are indicated in First Team's product literature with a "R" symbol next to the warranty. Under no circumstances shall any basketball product carrying a strictly residential warranty be covered for non-residential use.
Due to the abusive nature of amusement facilities, unless specifically agreed to in writing, First Team products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in an entertainment facility where players pay a fee to use the equipment.
