(1/8" wall) one-piece square steel post — confirmed by First Team as the heaviest post of its kind in the industry — with a 36" post-to-backboard extension and 36" in-ground bury, available in 12 configurations across acrylic, tempered glass, smoked tempered glass, and aluminum backboards in standard in-ground and bolt-down baseplate options. Every Legacy configuration carries a Lifetime Superior Warranty, which covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity including deliberate rim hanging. Fixed height at regulation 10'. All Legacy goals are direct mounted to eliminate backboard breakage when players hang on the rim.

FT1100 Legacy Post: 4" x 4" 11 ga. One-Piece Steel, 36" Extension, 36" Bury

Every standard Legacy configuration is built on the FT1100 post, a 4" x 4" 11 ga. one-piece square steel post buried 36" into the ground in a permanent concrete anchor. First Team's one-piece pole design eliminates the joint deterioration common with sectional-type posts. The FT1700 Legacy Extension Arm — also 4" x 4" square tubing — is attached to the vertical post via two heavy-duty U-bolts and positions the backboard 36" from the post. The U-bolts can be loosened to reposition the arm at any height along the post. An H-frame backboard brace is included on all configurations for simple installation and excellent backboard rigidity. The optional FT16 ground sleeve is available separately to make the post removable after installation.

Lifetime Superior Warranty on Every Configuration

Every Legacy configuration carries First Team's Lifetime Superior Warranty. The Superior Warranty covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact, including deliberate rim hanging. Vandalism is not covered. All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating. Note that acrylic, tempered glass, and smoked glass configurations carry the Superior Warranty for residential use only — defined by First Team as a single family dwelling. The Legacy Endura aluminum configuration carries the Lifetime Superior Warranty without the residential restriction.

FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal: Acrylic and Tempered Glass Variants

All acrylic and tempered glass Legacy configurations ship with the FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal, featuring a 3/16" steel rim support and continuous netlocks, direct mounted to eliminate backboard breakage. Net and mounting hardware are included.

FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal: Aluminum Variant

The Legacy Endura ships with the FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal, direct mounted with a rust-resistant powder coated finish suited for permanent outdoor installation. Net and mounting hardware are included.
