The First Team Legend Jr. In-Ground Fixed Height Basketball Goal is a permanent outdoor basketball system built on a 5" square, 3/16" thick solid steel post with a 52" post-to-backboard distance and 42" in-ground bury, available in 14 configurations covering acrylic, tempered glass, steel, and aluminum backboards in single-sided, dual-sided, and bolt-down baseplate options. Every Legend Jr. configuration carries a Lifetime Superior Warranty, which covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity including deliberate rim hanging. Fixed height at regulation 10'. All First Team goals are direct mounted to eliminate backboard breakage when players hang on the rim.

FT1105 Legend Jr. Post: 5" Square 3/16" Steel, 52" Overhang, 42" Bury

Every standard Legend Jr. configuration is built on the FT1105 post, constructed from 5" square, 3/16" thick solid steel tubing buried 42" into the ground in a permanent concrete anchor. The FT1750 Legend Jr. Extension Arm — also 5"x5" 3/16" wall solid steel — is attached to the vertical post via six 5/8" high tensile bolts and positions the backboard 52" from the post. Though classified as a fixed height system, the extension arm can be bolted at any height along the post. The optional FT17 ground sleeve is available separately to make the post removable after installation.

Lifetime Superior Warranty on Every Configuration

Every Legend Jr. configuration — acrylic, tempered glass, steel, and aluminum — carries First Team's Lifetime Superior Warranty. The Superior Warranty covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact, including deliberate rim hanging and multiple player hanging. Vandalism is not covered. All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.

FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal: Steel and Aluminum Variants

The steel (Extreme) and aluminum (Endura) Legend Jr. configurations ship with the FT172D Unbreakable Fixed Goal — a double 5/8" solid rim fixed goal with a rust-resistant powder coated finish and "Never-Fail" 3/16"x1" continuous net-lock, direct mounted to the backboard. Net and mounting hardware are included.

FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal: Acrylic and Tempered Glass Variants

Acrylic and tempered glass Legend Jr. configurations ship with the FT186 Heavy Duty Flex Goal, featuring a 3/16" steel rim support and continuous netlocks, direct mounted to the backboard. Net and mounting hardware are included.

All painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.  First Team products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in an entertainment or amusement facility where players pay a fee to use the equipment, unless specifically agreed to in writing by First Team.
