The Storm offers four distinct backboard configurations — two backboard sizes in either acrylic or tempered glass. Every configuration shares the same heavy-duty Storm platform, the same adjustable extension arm, and the same direct-to-arm goal mounting design. The only difference between them is the backboard size and material. This makes the Storm the most flexible option in the First Team portable lineup for facilities that want to choose exactly the right backboard for their program without compromising on the mechanical quality of the system underneath.

Unlike the Hurricane and Tempest which have fixed extension distances, the Storm features an adjustable overhang extension from 54" to 66". Direct Rim Mount Design

Like all First Team portables, the Storm mounts the goal directly to the extension arm rather than the backboard.
